The 2015 Paris Agreement, an agreement within the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) achieved during the Conference of Parties (COP21) in Paris, France, that outlines the commitment by 195 nations to deal with greenhouse-gas-emissions mitigation, adaptation, and finance, starting in the year 2020 to stop global warming. Qatar signed the Paris Agreement on April 22, 2016 and ratified it on June 23, 2017.
